The store - This is the exclusive outlet for 6 different design pieces created in collaboration by Peter Crawley and Ben the Illustrator. Each piece of artwork was designed by Ben and then hand-crafted in thread and card by Peter. Each piece is signed by both designers and has been produced in very limited editions.
Peter Crawley - Peter has been working with cotton thread to create minimal yet striking illustrations for a few years. The pieces have covered architecture, typography and abstract pattern. His work starts out in the form of hand drawn sketches and vector files. Each piece involves punching holes and hand stitching the card, making each illustration unique. "I have been aware of Ben and Fi's work for a while, having seen various pieces at design shows and scattered around the internet, and have long admired their beautiful illustrations. The fresh and engaging work never fails to make me smile, so when Ben got in touch and suggested working on something together, I jumped at the opportunity.
